Early Alpha Getting More Features


Hello!

Today I have added functionality to enter and exit the main menu by button press (instead of just using Tab). Tab functionality still exists.


Added Public Relations Shop with a single purchase option, Kills/Sec. The idea is that you're an evil SOB who is paying for their own citizens to die for them, thus giving you an official form of Kills/Sec aside from just by killing things (offline progress for Kills/Sec only includes this Public Relations amount, it doesn't try to calculate how many kills it thinks you should have gotten while away from enemies).

The reason for this choice is because killing enemies should be an active play thing, but it is still an idle game, so, once you can afford the upgrade you will be able to earn kills without being present.

Added x1, x10, x25, and x100 purchase options for each turret's damage and range upgrades. Just hit the x multiplier while hovering over a turret and it will update the cost accordingly. NOTE: Buying 100 of something before you have raised the price too much is monetarily efficient, however, once that purchase is made, the cost will "catch up" to what it should be.

Minor QoL updates such as adjusting text, making the gold amount on the intro screen not a random decimal number, etc.

As always, feedback is more than welcomed, and there are less than 9 weeks left to get this project completed and uploaded to Steam!
